Bundelkhand University was formed in the year 1975. It’s a public state university located in the Jhansi city in Uttar Pradesh. It’s a UGC recognized university which offers many traditional and professional courses to their students. It is one of the leading University in Uttar Pradesh. With the state of the art infrastructure facility.
It’s rated as one of the best university in UP which attracts students from all over the India to enroll in their various course. There are 304 colleges registered under Bundelkhand University. It has got one Medical College also name Maharani Laxmi Bai Medical College.
Bundelkhand University History
Bundelkhand University is a state university which is situated in Uttar Pradesh. Which is approved by the various govt body like – UGC, AICTE, AIU, NAAC, IAU, ACU, BCI, MCI etc. The university was founded in the year 1975 to expand the university and higher studies network towards the Uttar Pradesh state. The University is situated on the Jhansi – Kanpur road, city Jhansi.
About Jhansi:
Jhansi is a historic city of Uttar Pradesh, It is developed on the bank of river Pahuj. It is also called a gateway of Bundelkhand. It has got many historic forts to visit. One of them was built by the Raja Bir Singh in the 17th century on top of a hill know as Bangara. The ancient name of the city was Balwant Nagar.
